If stupidity was painful people would seek help in this case they used pain relievers

This is too funny here you have a "witch" and animal activist arrest for being a public pain in the ass.  If this network of animal loving and tree hugging people shared a brain I the still would have a tough time navigating out of a paper bag.  With her own words  Tim Reagan the manager of HEX call Lorelei not the police AND she never mentions to Tim to hang up and dial 911 now does she?  Dumb and Dumber with the Dumbest.
I too believe in anti animal abuse but this is silly beyond compare. Lorelei would have made better headline posing nude again (you can take that either way) but instead now it is an economical decision according her by $50 which makes her attorney Scott Dullea pro bono ? HMMMmmmmm

Here is the follow up a few days later

In my previous blog (oh Please PLEASE correct me if I am wrong )  The law did not pass with the Governor's signature until a week after her arrest and the law it self was not going into effect until Nov 7 2016.  Who knows why the real motivation is since the proper procedure was never followed (if any~ 911?). And what better to have on film of Lorelei being arrested as the owner of the car is a havard law student.   Scott Dullea (Lorelei's attorney) may be busy yet with Lorelei's civil suit against should he pursue that avenue.
The Nit Wit of Essex Street strikes again if anything she will learn from this and court is that she is not above the law.

The Nit Wit Activist of Essex Street. . .

The level of stupidity is Epic with this story  On Aug 14,2016 Lorelei Stathopolous was arrested for disturbing the peace.  What peace did she disturb one might ask?   Lorelei gave two Salem Police Officers a ration of shit for not following through what she thought was their duties and  procedures.   here is an excerpt :

   ".....  Jadiann Thompson
SALEM, MA (WHDH) - A Salem woman was arrested after she allegedly confronted police about a dog left in a hot car over the weekend.
Salem witch and animal rights activist Lorelei Stathopolous said she found the dog in a parked car outside a friend’s shop Sunday night. She said the dog was in the car for 10 to 20 minutes and the temperatures reached 90 degrees that day, so she called police. Around the same time, the dog’s owner came back to the car but Stathopolous wouldn’t let him leave.
Once officers arrived, they said they determined the dog was not in any danger, saying the dog had its head out a window. Stathopolous then allegedly told officers they should call animal control or firefighters to better assess the situation. She allegedly told police if they would not arrest they owner they should arrest her, so they did....."

So this gets a little better here folks our dear old friend Lorelei "wanted the police to be trained further on the procedures of rescuing a locked animal in the car and criticized the police for their lack of training on this matter ......  Arrested Aug 14,2016  Law does not go in effect til November 17,2016.

Now I did not have to take off my shoes to count this one folks ....

Massachusetts governor signs bill to protect animals from the dangers of hot cars, extended tethering

Animal welfare organizations thank the Governor and legislators for taking action

Today, in a ceremony at the State House, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker signed a bill that will ensure animals can be rescued from hot cars, limits the time dogs spend on a tether and increases enforcement of existing prohibitions on keeping dogs in cruel conditions. The new law will take effect on November 17.

According to another take of the story the good people of HEX called Lorelei and NOT the police in the first place wasting valuable time for this "poor distressed dog"

" ......Patrolman Robert Monk said in his report that when he pulled up alongside the parked car, "I was greeted by the dog inside with its head out the open window wagging its tail and not panting. The dog did not appear to be in any distress whatsoever."
As Monk spoke to the owner, Stathopoulos yelled from across the street, demanding the owner's arrest.
She then leaned into the now-fully-open car window and attempted to give the dog a cup of water, which it would not drink, as another officer, Patrolman Matthew Fisher told her to stop.
"I don't care, you can take me to jail," Stathopoulos yelled, according to the police report.
As the owner of the dog, who police say was free to leave, tried to get back into his car, Stathopoulos again blocked the door.
She insisted that police would have to arrest her, and that she was taking the stand "in honor of the dog."
She was then arrested, yelling to her friend to send the video he was making to Fox News as she was led away. ..."source here

Looks like people will do almost anything to catch some free marketing and exposure right ?   Well be careful what you wish for.  I do like making people famous 'the unabridged version' .   .
When some people  want to show off their cause it should be with experience and college degrees in my opinion.  With an elaborate background such as Lorelei's how much positive message can you project when you stage a rescue?   Oh this gets better

"....Stathopoulos said outside court she wanted police to take the dog's temperature and the temperature inside the car, and that when she was told they did not have equipment to do that, demanded that they call the fire department.
Her supporters outside court held signs that included photos from the scene, and say that the arrest also jeopardized Stathopoulos's health.
"They bodily arrested her and put her in a hot car where she had an asthma attack," said her sister Cynthia Stathopoulos.

WRKO Radio Show
Both Lorelei and Christian day (link ) both compared animals or in this case this dog as a baby . The DJ was hard pressed to answer but if one was to see a baby in a car with out hesitation would call the Police.

Sad thing is Animals as much rights they have earned are still considered property and those who are too emotionally involved may not see this but hard lessons will be learned in court ...
